Augustine B. Chiewolo – Program Director

Augustine, is trained as a Physician Assistant, in general clinical medicine for rural communities from the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts (TNIMA) , graduated from the University of Liberia with a degree in sociology and management, holds a Master Degree in Community Health from the Cuttington Graduate Collage, trained in the Ponseti Method by Dr. Jose Morcuende and Dr. Bill Whitmore in 2012 from the University of Iowa, United States of America, with further training by Ponseti International Association from USA in Liberia. Augustine has extensive experience working with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross. He established the Faith Clinical Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center (FACORC-Liberia), the only clubfoot center in Liberia providing free clubfoot treatment using the Ponseti method through volunteers. FACORC is now implementing the Liberia Clubfoot Program (L C P). The program that is to take clubfoot treatment to all parts of Liberia. (The dream of Augustine and his team)
